H.R. No. 1959
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Starla Wade received well-deserved recognition when
she was named Student of the Week at Jasper Junior High School in
2015; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Jarl and Roseanne
Wade, Starla Wade has distinguished herself through her academic
achievements and through her involvement in a variety of sports,
including softball, volleyball, basketball, and track and field;
and
WHEREAS, Starla Wade has proven herself a leader both in and
out of the classroom, and her great ability and initiative predict a
bright and fulfilling future for this notable young Texan; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Starla Wade on her selection as
Jasper Junior High School Student of the Week and extend to her
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Wade as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
