H.R. No. 1960
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Brittany Morris received well-deserved recognition
when she was named Student of the Week at Jasper High School in
2015; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of proud mother Emily Morris, Brittany
Morris has distinguished herself through her academic achievements
and she has also given generously of her time and resources in
behalf of her school's PELE Child Care program; and
WHEREAS, Brittany Morris has proven herself a leader both in
and out of the classroom, and her great ability and initiative
predict a bright and fulfilling future for this outstanding young
Texan; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Brittany Morris on her selection as
Jasper High School Student of the Week and extend to her sincere
best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Morris as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
