H.R. No. 1980
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Von Beougher was named Citizen of the Year at the
Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Luncheon on
January 27, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Each year, the Lewisville chamber celebrates the
achievements of individuals and businesses who have made notable
contributions to the organization or who have otherwise benefited
their fellow citizens; and
WHEREAS, A respected business leader, Mr. Beougher serves as
the president of G&A Consultants in Lewisville; he has been active
in the community over the course of two decades, volunteering his
time to support a number of worthwhile endeavors; his involvement
was especially helpful in funding the construction of a new
building for the Lewisville chamber, and he is a graduate and strong
advocate of the Leadership Lewisville development program; and
WHEREAS, Through his exceptional efforts, Von Beougher has
furthered Lewisville's reputation as a great place to live, work,
and raise a family, and he is indeed deserving of this prestigious
award; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Von Beougher on being named Citizen
of the Year by the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce and extend to
him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Beougher as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
