R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned five
decades, Ed and Anne Watts of Lindale celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary on December 31, 2014; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Watts exchanged the vows of matrimony
at First Baptist Church in Lindale on that memorable day in 1964,
and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other
a devoted life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Watts count among their blessings a
fine family that includes their two sons, Eddie and Matt, their
daughter-in-law, Stacy, as well as their six granddaughters, with
whom they treasure spending many special occasions; and
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past 50 years, Ed and Anne
Watts can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and know that
the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many more
joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Ed and Anne Watts on their 50th
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
