H.R. No. 2330
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, David Neal, a student at Business Careers High
School in San Antonio, distinguished himself with an outstanding
performance at the Business Professionals of America State
Leadership Conference, held in Dallas from March 4 through 7, 2015;
and
WHEREAS, Business Professionals of America works to develop a
strong workforce through the advancement of leadership,
citizenship, academic, and technological skills, and the State
Leadership Conference gives students an opportunity to participate
in a variety of projects and presentations; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Neal earned second place in the computer
security competition, and he will advance to the National
Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California, in May 2015; he was
ably guided in his efforts by BCHS sponsors Jan Breitbarth, Diana
Johnston, and Norma Arismendez; and
WHEREAS, Through his involvement with the Business
Professionals of America State Leadership Conference, David Neal
has demonstrated great initiative and ability, and he may indeed
look forward to a future bright with promise; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate David Neal on his success at the
Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference and
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Neal as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
