R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The work of the Texas House of Representatives
during the regular session of the 84th Legislature has been greatly
enhanced by the diligent efforts of the house parking guards; and
WHEREAS, These individuals provide an essential service to
members of the legislature by ensuring that each member's parking
space remains reserved and available for use whenever it is needed;
moreover, they maintain an orderly flow of traffic on Capitol
driveways and routinely provide helpful information to visitors to
the Capitol grounds; and
WHEREAS, The highly capable staff of the house parking guards
includes Jerry Amaya, Ben Marinez, Billy Moore, Ralph Rios Jr.,
Rick Robinson, Ru
dell Roe, and Howard M. Seymour; and
WHEREAS, These dedicated professionals have distinguished
themselves through their hard work and cooperation in assisting
legislators throughout the regular session, and they are truly
deserving of the deep gratitude of every house member; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby commend the house parking guards for their
exceptional service and extend to them sincere best wishes for the
future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the house parking guards as an expression of high
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
