H.R. No. 2370
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Brittany Harper received well-deserved recognition
when she was named Student of the Week at Jasper High School in
2015; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Cassandra and Raymond
Harper Jr., Brittany Harper has distinguished herself through her
academic achievements, her membership in the National Honor
Society, and her participation in the varsity volleyball and
basketball teams; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Harper has proven herself a leader both in and
out of the classroom, and her ability and initiative predict a
bright future for this notable young Texan; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Brittany Harper on her selection as
Jasper High School Student of the Week and extend to her sincere
best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Harper as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
