H.R. No. 2415
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The members of the Evadale Junior High School boys'
A track team distinguished themselves with their performance at the
2015 district meet; and
WHEREAS, The Rebels tallied a total of 185 points at the
competition, besting the second-place team by more than 60 points;
demonstrating excellence in both running and field events, Evadale
athletes claimed a total of seven first-place finishes; and
WHEREAS, With their fine showing against their league rivals,
the Rebels have continued the Evadale Junior High tradition of
athletic achievement, and these talented students may take
justifiable pride in the skill and dedication they have
demonstrated; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate the Evadale Junior High School
boys' A track team on its victory at the 2015 district meet and
extend to the athletes sincere best wishes for continued success;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
