H.R. No. 2431
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Public education is an endeavor in which all Texans
have a stake, and those individuals who devote themselves to the
development of our young people are helping to ensure that the
future of the Lone Star State rests in capable hands; and
WHEREAS, One such individual is Sade Gomez-Denmon, an English
teacher at Juan Seguin High School, who has demonstrated an
outstanding commitment to her students by achieving a perfect
record of attendance for the 2014-2015 school year; and
WHEREAS, A ninth grade teacher, Ms. Gomez-Denmon works
tirelessly to equip her pupils with the knowledge and skills they
will need to become responsible and productive citizens; and
WHEREAS, Providing for the diverse educational needs of our
future leaders is an undertaking of paramount importance, and Sade
Gomez-Denmon embodies the spirit of service and dedication that are
the hallmarks of a good teacher; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Sade Gomez-Denmon on her perfect
attendance during the 2014-2015 school year and extend to her
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Gomez-Denmon as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
