 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, No words can diminish the pain caused by a life cut
 short, but all those who shared in the love and friendship of D'Lisa
 Kelley may find comfort in their treasured memories of this special
 young woman, who died on March 14, 2014, at the age of 24; and
 WHEREAS, The daughter of LaSondra Kelley and Timothy Gunter,
 D'Lisa Kelley was born in Dallas on July 24, 1989; she was the
 oldest of four children, and she was always very protective of her
 younger siblings; after attending W. W. Bushman Elementary School
 and O. W. Holmes Middle School, she continued her education at A.
 Maceo and North Dallas High Schools; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Kelley was devoted to her son, Dunyae Dupree,
 and she loved to bring her relatives together to share each other's
 company and enjoy her fine cooking; with her wonderful sense of
 humor, she kept everyone laughing, and her vibrant personality
 brightened the days of innumerable people; and
 WHEREAS, Although her days were far too few, D'Lisa Kelley
 brought great joy into the lives of her friends and family members,
 and she will forever hold a cherished place in their hearts; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of D'Lisa Kelley and
 extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her son,
 Dunyae Dupree; to her mother, LaSondra Kelley; to her father,
 Timothy Gunter Sr.; to her grandparents, Roy and Marjurita Kelley
 and Frank Gunter; to her sisters, Jasmine and Lashaun Steward; to
 her brother, Timothy Gunter Jr.; to her nieces, Adrianna and Jayda
 Green; to her nephew, Adrian Green Jr.; and to her many other
 relatives and friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of D'Lisa
 Kelley.
