H.R. No. 2662
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The members of the Robinson High School home site
evaluation team distinguished themselves with their performance at
the Texas FFA Sam Houston State University Invitational on April 9,
2015, finishing in first place; and
WHEREAS, Competing against talented squads from around the
area, the Robinson students amassed enough points to secure the
contest title; the team was led by Stephan Fitting, who captured
first-place honors, and he was followed by teammate James Butler in
the runner-up position; Austin Vetter finished in third place, and
Adam Eckhardt claimed fifth place; and
WHEREAS, With their fine showing in FFA competition, the
Robinson High home site evaluation team has continued its school's
tradition of extracurricular achievement, and the students may take
justifiable pride in the skill and dedication they have
demonstrated; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby recognize the members of the Robinson High
School home site evaluation team on their participation in the
Texas FFA Sam Houston State University Invitational and that they
be extended sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
