R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The members of the Buna High School FFA dairy cattle
judging team distinguished themselves with their first place win at
the Area 9 contest on April 8, 2015; and
WHEREAS, The Buna High students triumphed over other top
squads to advance to the state competition; the team included
Jeremy Bivens, Kayle Hatch, Hannah Askew, and Lane Clark, and these
outstanding young Texans are the first all-freshman team to
represent BHS at the state level; and
WHEREAS, With their fine showing at the Area 9 contest, the
members of the Buna High School FFA dairy cattle judging team have
brought credit to their school, and they may take justifiable pride
in the talent and dedication they have demonstrated; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate the Buna High School FFA dairy
cattle judging team on winning its area contest and advancing to the
state competition and extend to each team member sincere best
wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
