R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lendburgh Haynes of McGregor
celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on March 7, 2015, and
they may indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they
have shared; and
WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1955, Mr. and Mrs. Haynes
exchanged the vows of matrimony, and over the course of their
marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Haynes count among their blessings a
fine family that includes their children, with whom they treasure
spending many special occasions; and
WHEREAS, For six decades, Mr. and Mrs. Haynes have brought to
their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Lendburgh Haynes on
their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
