R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Larry Lamb was honored as Officer of the Year of the
Burnet Police Department at the Hill Country 100 Club
Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides
valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year,
the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace
officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support
staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and
WHEREAS, Larry Lamb has served as a school resource officer
for the Burnet Police Department since the position was created in
2013; in fulfilling his duties, this esteemed law enforcement
professional has provided a vital service for area citizens while
garnering the respect and admiration of school personnel and
students alike; and
WHEREAS, Through his dedication to protecting the public,
Larry Lamb exemplifies the highest ideals of his profession and
contributes immeasurably to the safety and well-being of his fellow
citizens; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Larry Lamb on his selection as the
Hill Country 100 Club Officer of the Year for the Burnet Police
Department and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
success with his important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Officer Lamb as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
