 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The boys' wrestling team from Lake Highlands High
 School in Dallas enjoyed a successful 2014-2015 campaign, with
 several members taking part in the University Interscholastic
 League State Wrestling Tournament; and
 WHEREAS, The Wildcats finished in second place at the Eagle
 Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District Tournament in
 December before taking part in the prestigious Grapevine Duals
 tournament in early January; there, Lake Highlands reached the
 finals, making the best showing at the event in school history; and
 WHEREAS, After turning in solid performances against its
 remaining regular season opponents, Lake Highlands went on to
 capture its eighth consecutive league crown at the District 7-6A
 championships; all 14 varsity starters qualified for the Region
 2-6A meet in Allen, where team members Daniel Kidd, Connor Bosch,
 Seth Villasana, Reid Curnutt, and Kendrell Willis each earned a
 spot in the state tournament in their respective weight classes;
 and
 WHEREAS, Ably guided by coach Pete Grieder, the Wildcats
 demonstrated admirable skill and determination throughout the
 season, with each member of the roster contributing to the team's
 accomplishments, and they may take justifiable pride in their
 outstanding efforts; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate the Lake Highlands High School
 Wildcats wrestling team on its achievements during the 2014-2015
 season and extend to the team's athletes and coaches sincere best
 wishes for the future; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
