The bill would amend Subchapter F, Chapter 223 of the Transportation Code to authorize the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to enter into a design-build contract for the Interstate Highway 635 East project from U.S. Highway 75 to Interstate Highway 30 if TxDOT does not operate any portion of the project as a toll project.Based on the information provided by TxDOT, it is assumed the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the state. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
