                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            February 23, 2015      TO: Honorable Charles Schwertner, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB114 by Taylor, Van (Relating to the applicability of adverse licensing, listing, or registration decisions by certain health and human services agencies.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend Section 531.951(a) of the Government Code, related to the applicability of adverse licensing, listing, or registration decisions by certain health and human services agencies. The bill would add abortion facilities to the list of provider types for which health and human services agencies must maintain information about adverse actions for a period of ten years. It is assumed the Health and Human Services Commission and the Department of State Health Services could implement the provisions of the bill within exisiting appropriations.  Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
