The bill would amend the Property Code to permit a municipality to provide a portable closed container for personal property being removed from a residence under Section 24.0061, Property Code.  Local Government Impact There could be costs to a municipality that chose to store personal property under the provisions of the bill. However, it is assumed that a municipality would store personal property only if sufficient funds were available or it would not result in a negative fiscal impact; therefore, no significant fiscal impact is anticipated.
