The bill would amend the Government Code, Health and Safety Code, and Human Resources Code to change references to facilities providing adult day care from "adult day-care" facilities to "adult day services" facilities. The Department of Aging and Disability Services estimates there would be a minimal costs associated with updating databases to reflect the name change. It is assumed these costs could be reasonably absorbed within current resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
