The bill would amend Chapter 250 of the Local Government Code to prohibit a municipality or county from adopting or enforcing an ordinance that prohibits an individual from refusing to lease or rent a housing accommodation to a person due to a person's source of income to pay rent, including a housing voucher.  Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
