                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 31, 2015      TO: Honorable Charles Schwertner, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB277 by Schwertner (relating to the abolition of certain health-related task forces and advisory committees.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Government, Health and Safety, and Human Resources Codes to abolish certain health-related task forces and advisory committees. The Health and Human Services Commission indicated that implementation of the bill would result in a small savings due to a slight reduction in work hours across all health and human services agencies, but there would not be any significant fiscal impact to the State. The Sunset Commission and the Comptroller of Public Accounts indicated that there would be no significant fiscal impact. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
