Local Government Impact The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure, Education Code, and Occupations Code relating to the appointment of school marshals by public junior colleges. Based on information provided by Dallas County Community College District, Odessa College, Panola College, Southwest Texas Junior College, and Tyler Junior College, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
