                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 12, 2015      TO: Honorable Rafael Anchia, Chair, House Committee on International Trade & Intergovernmental Affairs      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB459 by Lucio (Relating to the creation of the Advisory Council on Cultural Affairs in the office of the governor.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend Government Code to create an Advisory Council on Cultural Affairs in the Office of the Governor to advise on furthering the economic, social, legal, and political contributions and equality of the Hispanic population of Texas. The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving two-thirds majority vote in each house. Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
