                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 29, 2015      TO: Honorable Dan Patrick, Lieutenant Governor, Senate  Honorable Joe Straus, Speaker of the House, House of Representatives      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB459 by Lucio (Relating to the creation of the Advisory Council on Cultural Affairs in the office of the governor.), Conference Committee Report    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend Government Code to create an Advisory Council on Cultural Affairs in the Office of the Governor to set policy priorities that address certain demographic changes in Texas. The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving two-thirds majority vote in each house. Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
