The bill would establish certain provisions for monitoring reviews, require the Texas Education Agency to adopt written procedures for conducting special accreditation investigations, and clarify the Commissioner of Education's authority to impose an intervention or sanction on the basis of a special accreditation investigation. The agency estimates there would be a minimal cost associated with implementing the provisions of the bill.
