The bill would amend the Transportation Code to authorize the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to issue an annual permit that allows a person to operate a vehicle or a combination of vehicles over a state highway with a maximum length of 110 feet and a maximum height of 14 feet. The bill would establish a fee of $960 for the annual permit.Based on the information provided by the DMV and the Comptroller's Office, it is assumed implementation of the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the state. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
