The bill would authorize the adjutant general of the Texas Military Forces to appoint as general officers one or more assistant deputy adjutants general for army, an assistant deputy adjutant general for air, an assistant adjutant general for homeland security, and an assistant adjutant general for domestic operations.The Texas Military Department anticipates no significant fiscal implication as the result of implementing the bill.The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
