                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 5, 2015      TO: Honorable Byron Cook, Chair, House Committee on State Affairs      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB777 by Fraser (Relating to the authority of the Public Utility Commission of Texas to restrict participation in the retail electric market for significant violations.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Utilities Code relating to the authority of the Public Utility Commission of Texas to restrict participation in the retail electric market for significant violations. Based on information provided by the Public Utility Commission and the Office of Public Utility Counsel, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
