The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code as it relates to consumption of alcoholic beverages in specified public entertainment facilities. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission anticipates any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources. The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote in each house, otherwise the bill would take effect September 1, 2015. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
