The bill amends various sections of the Education Code and Labor Code as they relate to the powers and duties of the board of regents of the Texas Tech University System and to workers' compensation coverage for employees of the system's components. Texas Tech University System would implement provisions of the bill within existing resources.  Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
