                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 22, 2015      TO: Honorable Eddie Lucio Jr., Chair, Senate Committee on Intergovernmental Relations      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB917 by Seliger (Relating to the applicability of the Texas Mass Gatherings Act to certain horse and greyhound races.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to apply the requirements of Mass Gatherings, Chapter 751, Health and Safety Code to horse and greyhound races that attract or are expected to attract at least 100 persons.
