The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code, regarding responsibilities of mediators in alternative dispute resolution processes. The bill would add provisions requiring notice that legal remedies must be sought in a court of law, and other conditions, as described. The Office of Court Administration indicates implementing bill provisions is not anticipated to have a significant fiscal implication in the court system.
