The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code relating to exemptions from certain regulations of dangerous wild animals. The bill would add organizations that are members of the Zoological Association of America to the list of exempt organizations and properly reflect the name of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Based on information provided by the Parks and Wildlife Department, any costs associated with implementing the provision of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
