SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 175 In Memory of Roy Don Creacy WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens of Borger in mourning the loss of Roy Don Creacy, who died January 20, 2015, at the age of 54; and WHEREAS, Roy Don Creacy was born on April 4, 1960, in Pampa, Texas; he attended Spring Creek and Borger schools and went on to establish a career in ranching; and WHEREAS, He loved his work as a rancher, and he was employed by Freedom 3 Cattle; he worked on ranches from Texas to Colorado to Arizona; and WHEREAS, Mr. Creacy was respected and admired in his community; he gave unselfishly of his time to others, and he formed many close and lasting friendships; and WHEREAS, He was devoted to his wife, Beverly, and to his three children and seven grandchildren, and he leaves behind memories that will long be cherished by all who were privileged to share in his life; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved family of Roy Don Creacy; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Roy Don Creacy.
