SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 474
WHEREAS, December 29, 2014, will be a day long cherished by
Jane Hamilton, for on that day her daughter Sloan Hannah Hamilton
was born; and
WHEREAS, This beautiful baby girl arrived at 8:53 p.m.; she
weighed 6.9 pounds and was 19.5 inches long; and
WHEREAS, Sloan's safe arrival fulfilled her mother's
dearest wish, and she is joyful over the birth of her daughter; and
WHEREAS, This blessed event has brought great happiness to
Sloan's family, and she has been heartily welcomed into the
world; and
WHEREAS, The birth of a child is cause for great
celebration, and it is indeed appropriate that the Texas Senate
welcome this new baby so recently born into the illustrious ranks
of the American citizenry; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Jane Hamilton and
honor Sloan Hannah Hamilton on the joyous occasion of her birth;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
Sloan Hannah Hamilton.
