The bill would amend the Election Code to add a recording duty canvassing officials must follow after an election to meet the requirements in Chapter 551.021 of the Government Code regulating Open Meetings. Local Government Impact According to the Texas Association of Counties, the fiscal impact to implement the provisions of the bill is not expected to be significant.
