The bill would amend the Government Code to modify the required hours of an investment training for certain housing authority financial officers.  Exempts officers at certain housing authorities from this training.The bill would take effect September 1, 2017. Local Government Impact According to the Texas Municipal League, the bill is not anticipated to have a significant fiscal impact on municipalities.
