Morrison, Chair, House Committee on Transportation      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1312 by Sanford (Relating to the number of emissions inspections performed by certain vehicle inspection stations.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Transportation Code to remove restrictions imposed by the Department of Public Safety on the number of limited emission inspections that can be conducted by an inspection station that conducts limited emission inspections. It is assumed any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
