The bill would amend the Local Government Code relating to the transfer of real property for economic development to an entity to promote economic development in the municipality. The bill would require that notice of the transfer of the property must be published in a newspaper in general circulation in the county. Local Government Impact The City of El Paso estimates the cost to run the newspaper notice would cost not more than $4,800 per year.
