This bill would amend the Labor Code relating to the statute of limitations applicable to the collection of a contribution, a penalty, or interest under the Texas Unemployment Compensation Act. Based on information provided by the Texas Workforce Commission and the Office of Court Administration, this analysis assumes the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
