The bill grants the district the power to undertake certain road projects. The bill prohibits the total principal amount of bonds or other obligations issued or incurred to finance road projects and payable from property taxes from exceeding one-fourth of the assessed value of the real property in the district at the time of issuance. EFFECTIVE DATE On passage, or, if the bill does not receive the necessary vote, September 1, 2017.
