The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require the Department of Motor Vehicles(DMV) to issue specialty license plates for persons who served on a submarine while in the United States Navy. Based on the information and analysis provided by the DMV, it is assumed any costs or dutiesassociated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency'sexisting resources.
