The bill would amend the Government Code to require court clerks to post a link on the court's website and display a sign in the clerk's office on a self-help resources website developed by the Office of Court Administration, in consultation with the Texas Access to Justice Commission, with information on and links to lawyer referral services, local legal aid offices, court-affiliated self-help centers, and the State Law Library's website. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact According to the Texas Association of Counties, the fiscal impact to counties is not anticipated to be significant.
