The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the prizes awarded in certain pull-tab bingo games. Based on the analysis of the Texas Lottery Commission, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.The Comptroller of Public Accounts estimates that there could be an increase in player attendance and participation at bingo establishments, but the fiscal impact on bingo-related revenue to the state cannot be determined.
