                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 14, 2017      TO: Honorable Dennis Bonnen, Chair, House Committee on Ways & Means      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1738 by Bonnen, Greg (Relating to the registration and certification of county tax assessor-collectors and their employees.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill amends the Occupations Code relating to the registration and certification of county tax assessor-collectors and their employees.Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. The Comptroller of Public Accounts estimates there would be no fiscal impact to the state.  Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
