The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to the prohibition of employment discrimination regarding military service members and military veterans. The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) estimates that implementing the provisions of the bill would result in additional complaints and increased workload. Based on the LBB's analysis of TWC, it is assumed the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
