                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 14, 2017      TO: Honorable Lyle Larson, Chair, House Committee on Natural Resources      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1863 by Lucio III (Relating to the use of money in the state water pollution control revolving fund.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Water Code for consistency with changes made in federal law by the Water Resources Reform and Development Act of 2014.  The Water Development Board has indicated that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
