The bill would amend the Election Code related to service contract between a county elections administrator and a political party in accordance with a cost schedule agreed on by the contracting parties. The LBB assumes any state costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2017. Local Government Impact According to Fort Bend County and Hunt County, no fiscal impact to local government is anticipated.
