                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 2, 2017      TO: Honorable Lois W. Kolkhorst, Chair, Senate Committee on Administration      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1982 by Metcalf (Relating to the board of directors of the Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District.), As Engrossed    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend Chapter 1321 Acts of the 77th Legislature relating to the board of directors of the Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District. The number of directors on the board would be reduced from nine to five and the members would be elected instead of appointed. A director may not serve more than three full terms.
