The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to the requirement for parental consent for a minor to join a labor union. Based on information provided by the Texas Workforce Commission, this analysis assumes the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
